Description

Richly decorated room in the Château de Fontainebleau, with painted ceiling, crystal chandeliers, and fringed armchairs. The reverse indicates that the salon was created in 1606 by Ambroise Dubois on the theme of the Loves of Théagène and Chariclée, modified under Louis XV and restored under Louis-Philippe in 1837.
