Two women in Provençal costume, one holding an umbrella, the other a fan, pose under pines at the foot of a path. In the distance, Daudet's mill on a hill. Reverse: printed text in French, English, and German mentioning the mill as the place where Daudet dated his letters, and a handwritten note dated March 3, 1973. French postage stamp with postmark 'Marseille 26'.
