Colored view of a steamship on Loch Linnhe, with the mountains of Ben Nevis in the background under a cloudy sky. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated May 28, 1948, sent from Fort William to Madame George Deneuille in Paris, with two stamps of Queen Elizabeth II (1d and 14d) and a postmark from Aberdeen.
