Portrait of a mulatto man in a red costume adorned with gold braiding and red buttons, wearing a red turban, painted by Frans Hals. The reverse has handwritten text dated April 27, 1943, mentioning the Leipzig museum and a note about the painting. The publisher is Paris Musées, with a mention of the collection of the Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig.
