Description

Black and white view of an oasis within rocky formations, bordered by palm trees and crossed by a watercourse. The reverse indicates the publisher C.A.P. and number 51, with an address in Paris and a mention of the decoration of the Great Mosque of Kairouan. Two Tunisian stamps (5 francs and 4 francs) are affixed, with a postmark from Gabès dated 17 May 1949.
