Description

Black and white view of J.J. Rousseau Island in Geneva, with many swans swimming in the river, trees in the background and a bridge in the distance. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 31, 1956, sent from Geneva to Le Bercœur (Haute-Vienne, France), mentioning a last stay in Switzerland and a departure for Paris. Swiss 25 franc stamp canceled in Geneva on 15-16 IX 1956.
