Panoramic view of a rocky river winding through a green landscape, with a massive rocky spur in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mrs. D. Sylvestre at the Hôtel Terminus in Chamonix, dated September 6, 1955, and a 12-franc French Republic postage stamp canceled in Chamon-sur-Lignon.
