Description

View of the Gothic church in Gisors, with its ornate portal and slate-roofed bell tower. The reverse features a handwritten address to Briquette Cordeau in Ferrières-la-Grande (59), a 40-centime French Republic postage stamp, and a postmark from 27-Mainneville (Eure) dated 24 July 1945. The publisher is the printer CIM, with the note 'NATURAL COLOURS' at the bottom.
