Description

Black-and-white view of a stone portal with two arches, covered in ivy, leading to a path bordered by trees. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated Wednesday evening, sent from Paris to Gisors, with a 12-cent postage stamp and a postmark from Paris (15th arrondissement) dated May 16, 1951. The publisher is mentioned at the bottom: 'Cie des Arts Photomécaniques'.
