View of the Sphinx of Giza surrounded by palm trees under a blue sky. On the reverse, a postcard sent in 1959 from Giza to Madame Germaine Vigée in Saint-Haour, France, with handwritten text describing ancient monuments and sand dunes. Two 35 piastre Egyptian air stamps are affixed, with partial cancellation.
