Description

Green locomotive of the Glasgow & South Western Railway, number 9, built in 1917 for shunting work. It was transferred in 1933 to the Denbighshire mine, and later displayed at the Transport Museum in Glasgow in 1966 after restoration. Printed blue text on the reverse indicates the publisher J. Arthur Dixon Ltd. and the photographer Douglas Scott.
