Black and white view of the Tarn Gorges, featuring a winding watercourse between steep cliffs and lush trees. On the reverse, handwritten text describes a difficult ascent in the Cévennes, including the Aigoual Gorges, the Causses, and the Barn Gorges. 20 franc postal stamp and postmark from VIGNEZ (Lozère) dated 27 July 1959. Addressed to Madame Larnicol in Brièze-Allichamps (Cher).
