Illustrated postcard of a stylized map of New Mexico with illustrations of places such as Santa Fe, Las Vegas, and Carlsbad Caverns. The reverse contains a handwritten letter sent from New Mexico to Montreuil-sous-Bois, France, dated around 1973, with two US stamps (Copernicus and Signer of the Declaration) and a cancellation mark 'AIRMAIL PAR AVION'.
