Description

Postcard depicting a rough sea striking a stone pier under a cloudy sky. The back features a poem by A. Samain: 'The sun, gradually emerging from the mist, makes the sea sparkle in its silver mesh.' It is addressed to Thiébault Chaudal in Ayron, with a French postmark from 1942 and a cancellation from Brest.
