Panoramic view of the Grimsel Pass with the Grimsel Hospice and the peaks of the Finsteraarhorn (4275 m) and Zinkenstöcke. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated 22 July 1967, sent from Thalwil-Zürich to Jeanne Laraché in France, with a 30-centime Helvetia stamp and a postmark from 'Zentrum der Alpenpässe'.
