Description

Panoramic view of the port of Hamburg with the HAPAG-LLOYD building in the foreground, cruise ships moored and historic buildings in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated May 1, 1983, sent from Hamburg to Alain Armez in France, mentioning the cold weather and visits to a museum. Two stamps from the Deutsche Bundespost (10 and 50 pfennigs) are affixed, with a cancellation mark from Lübeck.
