Description

Black and white view of the Peepertbahn street and Spielbudenplatz in Hamburg-St. Pauli, with ornate facades and lined trees. On the reverse, a postcard sent in 1931 from Hamburg to Caumont (France), with a red 1 pfennig stamp and a circular cancellation 'HAMBURG 13-10-31'. The handwritten text expresses an affectionate greeting from the 'little friend' to 'Miss B. Garquet'.
