Picturesque view of the Colmar canal, nicknamed 'La Petite Venise', with timber-framed houses and a swan on the water. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 8/7/89 addressed to 'Chère Anne' by 'M. et Mme Saiguy' from Toulouse, mentioning their visit to Colmar and their plans to return to Paris. Railway postal stamp and 'Haut-Rhin' postmark.
