Description

Winter view of an old water mill in the Black Forest, with a spinning wheel and large icicles. Printed text in German mentions its construction in 1825 and its use for the production of cuckoo clocks. Reverse: handwritten message addressed to 'Dear Monique' by 'Jean-François' and 'Dominique', with a signature and a postmark from Überlingen.
