Postcard depicting the castle of Hohenstaufen, located on the mountain of Schwäbische Alb Forest, with an inscription detailing its history: founded by Frederick I of Buren in 1181, taken by Count Eberhard I of Württemberg in 1288, destroyed during the Peasants' War in 1525, and partially restored. At the foot of the castle, the village of Hohenstaufen and Saint-Jacques Church. Reverse: publisher Meiz, series 7321, with postmark and cancellation of Tübingen.
