Printed text in German on a cartouche: 'A deer heard the hunter approaching and escaped him in wild flight through Himmelreich and Höllensteig with a bold leap.' Reverse: handwritten French text, address to Madame Houdry Bére, 29 Rue de Dombenay, 94300 Vincennes, France, dated June 5, 1979, German postmark and Titisee-Nels dispatch stamp.
