Description

Black and white winter view of a cross and a small stone building in front of the Silvrettasee Hotel at 2030 meters altitude, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Ma chère Cathou' from 'Martine', sent from Partenen (Austria) to Haute-Savoie (France), with a 145 schillings stamp and a circular cancellation.
