Colored postcard showing a composite view of the island of Noirmoutier: a fortress, a port with boats and lobster traps, a speedboat at sea, and marshes. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 18 July 1985, sent from the island to Rennes, with a green 1.70 F stamp and a Vendée postmark.
