View of the Imperial Palace in Kyoto from the Jomei-mon gate, with a blooming cherry tree in the foreground. The reverse side features a handwritten letter in French addressed to Madame Vadde in Joigny, France, and a green 55 yen stamp canceled. The publisher is the Japanese Cultural Association.
