Description

View of the archaeological site of Jericho under a blue sky, highlighting a large circular stone gate with a central geometric motif. The reverse indicates that the postcard comes from the Palace of Hisham, near Jericho, and bears a handwritten address in Paris, France. Two Israeli stamps are affixed: a blue one with a Pegasus and a green one with a fruit, canceled by a circular postmark dated 21.3.68.
