Interior view of the entrance to the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, adorned with a richly decorated altarpiece featuring icons and candlesticks. The reverse side bears a handwritten letter dated 1919, sent from Jerusalem to Paris, addressed to Madame Desfardin, and mentions a Christmas pilgrimage to Bethlehem. The postmark is canceled in Jerusalem.
