View of the Kehlsteinhaus, a mountain refuge, with a large cross adorned with a thistle flower and stairs leading to the building, at the foot of rocky mountains. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated May 14, 1957, sent to Mademoiselle Huguette Labarre in Paris, with a 20 pf Deutsche Bundespost stamp and a postmark from Riegenburg.
