Description

Winter view of a brick windmill with branches covered in frost under a blue sky. On the reverse, printed text in Dutch and English describing the mill as a drainage mill in the Kinderdijk complex, with a construction date of 1738. The handwritten address is intended for Pauline H. Samkoff in Annemasse, France. A 50-cent Dutch stamp canceled in Amsterdam in 1985.
