Panoramic view of the Ehrenbreitstein Castle overlooking the Rhine, with a boat moored in the foreground and a child on the quay. The reverse has a handwritten inscription 'Souvenir d'un beau pays' signed by Philippe Gobert, as well as an address to Madame Skulté in Levallois-Perret, France. German postage stamp of 10 pfennigs and a postmark from Heidelberg dated 31.08.1954.
