Black and white view of a riverside village with timber-framed houses and terraced vineyards on the hills. A man rows in a small boat in the foreground. On the reverse, a postcard dated 11.10.1969, sent from Frankfurter Gärten (Frankfurt am Main) to Paris, with two 10 pfennig stamps commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Frankfurt Zoo. The publisher is Cramers KG. The French message expresses admiration for the region and the beauty of the landscape.
