Aerial view of a large thermal spa building surrounded by dense forest, with the inscription 'SAND' visible on the roof. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Schöning Luftbild', an address in Lübeck, a cancellation stamp from Sand (176b), and a 10 pfennigs postage stamp. The postmark is dated 2/9/1961 and addressed to Marcel Renault in Malakoff, France.
