On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated April 17, 1977, sent to Madame Boisard in Paris, accompanied by a commemorative stamp for the centenary of the telephone (1876–1976) and a postmark from Verzenay. The publisher is listed as 'Éditions "La Cigogne"'.
