Description

Two children dressed in traditional costumes pose in the middle of a blooming mimosa field. The child on the left wears a hat and holds a basket, the other child wears a red cap. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 22, sent from Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) to Madame Richard in Roizé (Loire-Atlantique), with a 25-centime French postage stamp and a cancellation mark of 'PATTET ALPES MARITIMES'.
