Black and white view of a road tunnel carved into a rocky wall, with an asphalted road and a concrete guardrail. On the reverse, an 8 franc 'Cérès' (RF) stamp, a postmark from Coutainville (Manche) dated 8 August 1950, and a handwritten address to 'Mrs. Granville' in La Grande Chartreuse. Printed text at the bottom: '252 - LA GRANDE CHARTREUSE - Tunnels Route de St-Laurent-du-Pont'.
