Black and white view of the Grande Chartreuse, with its religious buildings nestled in a valley surrounded by forests and steep mountains. The back indicates the edition 'La Cigogne', with a handwritten address to Saint-Brice, Côtes-du-Nord, and a 8 francs postmark canceled in Saint-Laurent-du-Pont on September 20, 1952.
