Black and white view of coastal rocks under a cloudy sky, with waves crashing against the cliffs. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Madame' with a 15-cent postage stamp and a postmark from Béaumont-sur-Mer dated May 17, 1951. The publisher is identified as 'Alex Becquemin - Cherbourg'.
