Description

Panoramic postcard depicting five sites in High Auvergne: the castle of Val, the Garabit viaduct, the Le Lioran tunnel, the city of St Flour, and the Chaudes-Aigues waterfall. Reverse: handwritten letter dated September 14, 1978, sent from Chaudes-Aigues to Charles Marie Helene, describing the visited sites and weather conditions. Postmark canceled in Chaudes-Aigues, with mention of the publisher 'Éditions du LYS'.
