Night view of the port of La Rochelle with the La Rochelle Tower illuminated, reflected in the calm water. Several sail and motor boats are moored, including one with the number LR 612153. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Chérie Victoire' by 'D. Vivianus' from La Rochelle, dated from his stay on Île d'Oléron, mentioning the rain and swims. The publisher is 'Éditions de Luxe' with number 6213.
