A man in a red vest enjoys sauerkraut accompanied by sausages and potatoes in a rustic Alsatian setting. The reverse side features a handwritten inscription 'Bon Appétit' and the names of several people, as well as the sender's address to Plainfaing. The 25-cent postage stamp is canceled in Vosges on March 19.
