Animated street view of Landau (Germany) around 1950, with a Volkswagen car on a cobblestone street, pedestrians, and shops, one of which displays 'Grosse Tage für kleine Geldbeute!'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated December 27, 1950, sent by a young man to his uncles, mentioning his studies and his departure for the infirmary, with a postage stamp and a Landau postmark.
