Aerial view of Bernkastel-Kues-an-der-Mosel, with the Moselle winding between vineyard-covered hills and the ruin of Burggruine Landshut in the foreground. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 1962, sent from Bernkastel-Kues to Paris, with a 20 pfennig postage stamp and a local postmark. The publisher 'Clamers Kunstanstalt KG' is printed at the bottom right.
