Description

Postcard showing a two-story tramway, model Cm 2/4, used for trials between Lausanne and Echallens in 1876/77, then in service from 1879. The reverse details its technical specifications: overall length 13,000 mm, empty weight 11.5 tons, maximum speed 25 km/h, power 40 horsepower, 64 seated places. Edition from the SLM Winterthur collection, with a note prohibiting reproduction.
