Picturesque view of La Vallée over the Mayenne, with the castle and buildings reflected in the water. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 28, 1957, sent from La Vallée (Mayenne) to Fontenay-en-Loire, with a 15-franc stamp and a postmark from La Vallée.
