Description

Aerial view of the medieval castle overlooking a hilly landscape in autumn, with trees with colored leaves. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated October 23, 1963, sent from Grand Ballon (Alsace) to Madame Jaccard in Zurich, mentioning the beauty of the castle and the colorful fields. Two 20-franc stamps of the French Republic are affixed, canceled at Grand Ballon.
