Black and white view of an alpine chalet with a large building on the left and a smaller one on the right, in front of a snowy mountain panorama. The word 'MAIRIE' is visible on the façade of the left building. On the reverse, a French postcard dated 17 July 1956, sent from Le Fayet (Savoie) to Paris, with an 8 franc stamp and handwritten text indicating 'Souvenirs de France' and 'André'.
