Black and white view of the Gouron, on the Coast of the Maures (Var), framed by pines. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Madeleine Guérin in Cherbourg (Manche), dated 11 May 1945, with a French postage stamp from 1945 and a postmark from Le Lavandou.
