Description

Black and white view of the southern part of Mont Saint-Michel under high tide, with the imposing silhouette of the abbey and buildings perched on the rocky hill. On the reverse, a postcard published by Monuments Historiques, 8 francs stamp, dated 18 July 1952, with handwritten correspondence addressed to Mrs. Verchère in Viroflay. The cancellation bears the inscription 'MONT-SI-MICHEL' and the stamp 'MONUMENTS HISTORIQUES'.
