Aerial view of Mont-Saint-Michel with its abbey and buildings perched on a rocky island surrounded by a stretch of sand. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to the École Jules Richard in Paris, with a French postage stamp from 1978 and a cancellation from St-Pair-sur-Mer dated August 30, 1978.
