Description

Color aerial view of the Plateau d'Assy in France, with a village nestled in a valley surrounded by forests and snow-capped mountains in the distance. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated Saturday, July 10, 1965, sent from the station, mentioning jams, the Bosses Glacier, Lake Geneva, and the cable car. Swiss 20-franc stamp, canceled in Annecy.
