Description

Black and white view of the famous Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard, crossing a river surrounded by vegetation. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 1956, addressed to Madame Jeanne Serrard at the Légion d'Honneur, with a 55-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Avignon. The publisher is indicated as 'True Photography — Rella Manufacturing'.
